What You’ll Do

Visual Story Development

  • Translate scripts, concepts, and ideas into clear, compelling visual sequences

  • Define shot composition, framing, camera angles, and transitions

  • Shape how the story is seen, not just how it is told

Storyboarding & Shot Planning

  • Create detailed storyboards that map out each scene and sequence

  • Develop shot-by-shot breakdowns for animation, including action, timing, and camera movement

  • Ensure visual continuity and clarity across scenes

Cinematic Thinking & Direction

  • Think like a director when planning scenes, using composition, pacing, and perspective to evoke emotion

  • Suggest creative ideas to enhance storytelling, mood, and visual impact

  • Explore dynamic camera language for both cinematic and real-time storytelling

Collaboration Across Departments

  • Work closely with writers, directors, animators, and layout artists

  • Align storyboards with the creative vision and technical requirements of the project

  • Communicate ideas clearly to guide the entire production team

Who You are

  • You think in shots, sequences, and transitions, instinctively framing moments as if a camera is always rolling.

  • You’re skilled in sketching quickly and effectively, prioritizing clarity, storytelling, and flow over perfection.

  • You understand how composition, pacing, and movement shape emotion and guide the audience’s eye.
